Beware.......
Well guys let me be the first to tell you . I have been testing some new props from Throttle-Up the last few months. These are props that Matt (Blades) has designed himself, and Throttle-UP is manufacturing. They are on the third generation in design .... The last one I tested was the fastest yet , and let me tell you I mean FAST very FAST. Handling is great and the attitude of the boat is getting better and better.
If you need some speed then its time to Throttle-UP ...Call Julie and I'm sure she will be happy to spend sometime with you and explain more about what they are doing, and the direction they are going. WARNING: If you want to be part of a new generation call soon, if not you might be better off keeping your boat on a trailer. www.Throttle-UP.com |
Re: Beware.......
Throttle-Up takes great pride in getting you dialed in just right, can`t say enough about them. You guys will bring a new meaning to the prop evolution industry.

FRANK and ALBERT....I want to thank the two of you for your ongoing support, over this past year. We have had to sit out this season, to accomplish our goals by bringing something new to the course for you boys to race with. We are so very confident right now that our product will be second to NONE! Our ongoing testing proves this every week. We continue to run the props on every different boat and set up we can come up with. We are testing with some OEM's and this should prove to be a positive step, in acheiving our goals. Thank you to those of you who have supported us and have offered your time to help Matt and I accomplish our dreams!
Gratefully yours gentleman. Julie & Matt Throttle Up Propellers |
Re: Beware.......
I'm gonna chime in here, we sent Matt & Julie our 5 blade, round ear 25 pitch props before going to OPA in Cambridge, Maryland last week. The Condo was doing between 78  and 79  MPH tops :( on OPA's GPS System, We achieved 82 MPH  which is a gain of 3 :woohoo: MPH :D in flat water. Don't know what they did, don't care! Anthony "Sticks" Asked them to do ??? :blaster: and they did. Matt, Julie...THANK YOU SO MUCH. LOVE you guy's. Augie

Re: Beware.......
Thank you Augie! That really means a lot to us! We have put in some ungodly hours here this season and I am really proud that we have been able to maintain the same level of service, that you all are accustomed to.
So that being said who's ready to bolt on some smokin wheels and take some titles for 2006! And if you think I am blowing smoke up your ....well ..your way....then pay attention. There are some teams who will no longer talk about their numbers....I am sure if you THINK about you'll figure it out! We are ready to build custom CNC Wheels for your Professional Offshore Race Boat, that will smoke your competition! :evilb: Julie & Matt Throttle Up Propellers GO FAST or ........GO HOME! |
Re: Beware.......
Hope you all got your stuff bolted down tight for the weekend. 6 feet on the beach today and yesterday. I ran a 23 @ 7600RPM and held it down from Pompano to Govt. Cut and back and back and back waiting for anything at all to break loose. Nothing broken. I'm gonna abuse that little b!tch again tomorrow. Frank & Albert, why not come out tomorrow so I can put your cigarette butt OUT!!!

Frank is correct !!! These new props are wicked !!!With out giving out numnbers, we tested the first prop at Lake Tarpon....not good, too much stern lift. Matt took it back and worked his magic and gave us a new prop to run up in Morehead City....WOW !!!! This prop has more speed than we have seen , more control !!!! One problem, we ran pout of wheel.....so Matts got us a new one to try in Deerfield and can't wait to see how she does. Matt and Julie are two of the nicest people I know. They will always stop and help you anyway the can. Thanks Matt and Julie for being our friends !!!! Dave

You couldnt have seen us, we were offshore not beach shore, because of it we cant race this weekend due to a tear calf muscle to Frank, that may need surgery. |
Re: Beware.......
yada yada yada......................
Albert, if we don't tell my orthopedic surgeon or my banker, and we have a special brace for my crutches attached to the bolster, we can still go out there and wash down that cute little lauderdale boat.....I'll drive with one hand, what do you say, I know you don't like to go slow, but just slow down enough to stay next to that cute little boat, I don't think at that speed we will get much air anyways, c'mon it'll be fun to wash down that island boy....................... |
Re: Beware.......
Frank, you alright bro??? Sorry to hear about the leg. If we duct tape you to the seat and cut a little hole out in the floor you could just kind of hang there. Tell Albert to throttle up a bit so you don't crash into waves but rather fly over the top. I guess that wasn't you I saw on the beach line so that must of been you out on the horizon looking like a sport fisher. I thought I saw a fishing rod but that could of been your cockpit cover pole flapping around in the cockit like apparently the two of you were. On a serious note though, hope you're OK! See if you can get some speedy heal so you can chase after me in KW :D :D :D

Re: Beware.......
Chris, I'll be at KW, don't you worry. Saw your boat in the middle of the course. We got late to the start, did you start? Are you running KW?
Hmmmm, I may need to talk to Matt and Julie about getting you a really fst propeller so we can have some fun out there :D |
Re: Beware.......
Blew the motor!!! Major wrong prop decision at the last minute. Ran an untested super thinned prop that ripped 1" of the tips off of 3 blades, determined I still kept it pegged with the boat going everywhere but straight spinning 7800RPM. I kew it was coming but I had already decided that fragile motor had to get out of my engine room anyway. I'm not sure whether to go down or go blower. DId you see Predator running with super Vee in the second race?? How the hell can my single engine 30ft boat be placed in the same class as him. I can run 92 in perfect conditions for brief periods. I wonder what story his GPS told after running up with them. Thinking about a 525 and OSS.
