Hey Frank, the official numbers from OSS is: 69 boats total. 33 from OPA, 36 from OSS.
And what did you guys have for boats racing, not including PR boats?

PS: Is the Fountain camp calmed down yet?

Let me put it this way, I would love to see a SVL team that would stand toe to toe with these guys one day.

Steve,

You would think at least one of the SVL teams would take a crack at you.

Could it be that you and Gary have achieved such total domination over the Class that all the other SVL's scurried off to another playground so they could pretend to be King of the Hill?

You guys have been standing in the middle of the Arena waiting for a challenger all year....where are these so-callled Gladiators....cowering behind the columns, knees shaking, and teeth chattering in fear of life's most embarrassing moment?

While the young cubs are running around in circles, chasing each other's tails and crying "ouch...you hurt me" every time one bites a little too hard....the Lion King lies high above the plain on a limb of the Appelblaar tree and looks down upon them.....yawns in boredom....and yearns to go back to the days when he was the challenger.....and then became King

Doyle...give me a break.....

first of all, all the original Vee lite teams that ran with Steve and Gary are long gone. So dont play that scurrying to another playground crap with us.

Secondly, as I recall, there was a challenge on the table to run on nuetral ground with OPA in NJ. All the Vee lite teams agreed to participate and as I recall, Shane backed out because he thought the Vee lites would play dirty.

No one denies that Steve and Gary can run the chit out of that boat. But dont discredit any of the OSS vee lite teams. It would be a great battle. But, no way in our life time will we cross over into your playground as Im sure Gary and Steve will not cross over into ours.

So, I guess we will never know how good they actually are , will we?
