No injuries, looked a lot worse that what the pics showed , maybe freeze frame has this.
Pete B,
Team DVC is pleased that you are taking such personal interest in this incident. The only hooking motion we are aware of was the result of a 90 mph impact that split our port motor in half. Your questionable observations have become commonplace here, but as this matter is being reviewed by our officals it's probably best, in this instance, to stick to the facts.

We are friends with and have great respect for our brothers from Team Micossukee. They are professionals in every way possible. We look forward to joining them and three other Stock Teams for a highly competitive 07' season.

We want to thank the SBI/Apba rescue personnel for being on the scene immediately. This was a serious accident and our boat received extensive damage. We will repair or rebuild as needed and we will be back for the next race.

Steve,

well said,

only you know what really happened, being you were in the boat, but it looked from the beach as you hooked, and they ran you over, the perception from the view from the beach may be much different from what really happened.

Thanks Rick,
Assessing fault one way or the other will not fix any fiberglass or replace our motors. Team Micossukee did what they felt needed to be done to avoid an accident. We have been informed the SBI/APBA officals will be reviewing tapes of the accident and will apply the rulebook strictly as written. SQ

Steve,
From the view I had it appeared as that your boat hooked, and then team Miccosukee went over the top of you, I know that this all happened in a split second of time, I am just glad no one was hurt. Never once did i say the Miccosukee crew was or wasnt at fault , just stating what I saw.

If it didnt happen that way it is all fine by me.
