Hey guys, this race site needs the support of the boats. They have held offshore boat races for a long time and provided many of us a place to race and start racing for years.

The community has supported the Rotary Club for a long time and would really like to see more boats this year to justify the expense. They would like to see 20-25 boats competing on Sunday.

The Rotary Club in St. Cloud has provided scholarships to local kids and many other community donations over the years. I have known these people personally since I started racing. They not only volunteer their time in the community they work the race site and have helped and supported the racers for a long time. These are real people and have really made a commitment to support the racers for years.

We can’t just sit by and let a 20 year old race site fade away into the background we need to create a show for them to continue the community’s support for the Rotary Club so they can continue to provide us a place to race and a place for new people to get involved in the sport.

The rooms are affordable at $54.00 a night, the parade is great fun for the kids as well as the fair, and lets not forget about the Beer Garden of Course

If there is anything I can do to help any of the boats make it to the event let me know.

Now that was funny at his age and past history that may be a good idea. You gotta give him credit though he keeps climbing in with me.
