Paris Hilton may roll into Key West for hot party
BY TRACI RORK

Citizen Staff

When Paris Hilton was the official flag girl for the 2004 Bullrun USA, she vowed to return to put the pedal to the metal in the cross-country luxury-car road trip — a veritable party on wheels from Montreal to Key West.

"Bullrun is hot!" Hilton said on the event's official Web site, adding that she was "really looking forward to doing the Bullrun again — this time as a driver! Watch out guys!"

Sorry, Paris. Guess you'll have to trailer your $350,000 Spyker supercar.

The 26-year-old socialite is slated to report to a Los Angeles jail by June 5 to serve 45 days for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case; the police caught the naughty girl ¬*— oops — driving with a suspended license.

Nevertheless, Hilton reportedly will join in the 100-car rally that ends in Key West on Friday.

"She's still very much planning on participating — not driving — taking part," event spokeswoman Grace Stevens said this week. "We're just waiting for her to confirm her leg of the rally."

Key West is familial territory for Hilton. The late Merili McCoy, a Key West city commissioner who ran Hilton Haven, now Banana Bay, was the niece of Conrad Hilton. McCoy's father helped him open hotels around the world, according to published reports. Conrad Hilton was Paris Hilton's great-grandfather.

Bullrun drivers who left the Ritz-Carlton Montreal on Saturday are expected to roll into Mallory Square from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Key West City Commissioner Mark Rossi said he did not know whether Hilton or any other celebrities would attend the after-party planned at his Rick's bar on Duval Street. Sexy model Tila Tequila and Ryan Dunn of MTV's "Jackass" are expected to accompany the Bullrun to the Southernmost City, event organizers said.

"Bullrunners" stop in a different city every night, not knowing their next destination until the next morning, the Web site says. Along the way, they stay at chichi hotels and enjoy glamorous parties — footed by their $17,500 entry fee — and drivers also compete for a $200,000 prize. Event organizers said they hope to raise more than last year's $90,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The rally, now in its fifth year, is filmed for a reality TV series for Spike TV; the show airs in 52 countries, but not in the United States, the Web site says.
