I have been reading on this website and getting emails regarding support boats for Key West.
This year the Key West race is going to have a very good turnout of race boats, which means we always need good support from volunteers supplying coverage for patrol, turn, medical and pace boats.
This year, however, it is going to be impossible to have the support boats park in the pits or use the ramp, because space is very tight.........so if you are not local and will be bringing your boat to Key West to help out, you will have to make arrangements other than at the pits.
Anyone interested in participating is more than welcome, and by contacting the SBI office or myself, we can start getting the support fleet lined up.
Past participation does not automatically mean you are already on this years list.......you will need to make contact with us and complete new paperwork.
Thanks so much for understanding our limits, it's a little city.
We hit Duval Street a month from tomorrow.......
