Marathon P4

Hey guys, I reckon I'll find out when I get down there...
but I was just looking at the course map and wondering if they allow spectators on the bridge. Seems like it would be a good perch for photos, plus.. I have bridge experience.

No spectators will be allowed on the old bridge this year. DOT is closing it and getting ready to repair it.
Sunset Park, on the gulfside of the bridge will be the main spectator area with parking on the other side of the highway at Knights Key.

Thanks Pat... is Sunset Park a good spot? I'm thinking of maybe renting a boat for the afternoon... any advice on where to find a rental?

If I ever get to "watch" a race in Marathon, I would be on the parking lot leading to the old bridge. You can see gulf and oceanside and there are now stairs that go under the new bridge leading to the parking lot across the street. Sunset Park is below the parking lot and the best spectator area.
There are many boat rental places......one is on the gulfside just before you get to the bridge (might be Capt.Pips).......very close to the course.
Check the yellow pages when you get in town.

Don't get TOO excited.......that will not be your view this year.
Sorry.
However, if your on a boat you can be on the gulfside of the bridge and have them coming at you, or be on oceanside and watch them go between the columns.
