Thank you once again for your thoughts and prayers. Mr. Rickey is gravely ill and we should find out more tomorrow. He has already had 22 pints of blood as he has an intestinal bleeding problem, has had a heart attack and kidney failure and is on dialysis.

Please say special prayers tomorrow as the doctors go in and try to locate and repair the source of his bleeding.

We met back in the early 90's at the Lake Winnipesaukee races and shortly after there was a Vapor Trails full page pic of my wife and I at the racers party held at the NASWA Beach Bar.

Mr. Rickey had a Colectomy ( removal of the colon ) performed which did stop the bleeding. They also found another major problem that he has a form of blood cancer. Please continue to keep our dear friend in your prayers.

I came across some old issues of Vapor Trails a few days ago and it is amazing how many years of races he has covered and captured so many memorable events, celebrities, race teams and honored "people of the month".

If you have them..........dig them out. He used to have a section called "remember when........". Now it applies to all these issues. Great stuff.
(I even saw Scotty B. with short dark hair.......)
