Default Mr. Rickey's Memorial Service

Our family would like to know if any of the racers or anyone in the industry will be attending Mr. Rickey's Services? We would like to get an accurate idea for the service arrangements.

Thank you,

Sharon & Family

I wish we could be there for the memorial service Sharon.
So MANY memories will stay with us. He was one of a kind and over this past year so many people asked about him and mentioned how much he was missed.
I know he is now laughing with old friends and watching the races from the ultimate shooting location.
Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Sharon and Family: I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Ricky. He was one of the few who gave recognition to the throttlemen and crew members. I remember many very personal conversations with him prior to races, and he always pumped me up to win, no matter who I was with. I will miss him, and his spectacular award ceremonies, he really loved all forms of boatracing, and was a great racer as well. He is now in good company with Tom Gentry, Al Copeland, Carl Kiekhaefer, Bill Sirois, Smitty, Gilly, and too many more. RIP Mr. Ricky and thank you for all you have done for the people of Offshore. Richie Powers and Family
