we're faced with a dilemma:
go to the ports and watch like we did last year, and was unlike anything I've seen before at a race, or try our hand over by the fort.

personally, Im trying to convince everyone that 10 bucks for tickets is worth the best seats anywhere...am I crazy, or are the ports THE place at this race, at least versus everything else there? help me out here guys.

ABSOLUTELY.......there is no better viewing than that. It's not only the start/finish area, you can see the WHOLE course.

........they have bleachers and if you remember, the crowd moved them closer to the water because the boats were so close to the wall they couldn't see them...........
very worth the money if your a serious spectator.......pd
