How would you all like to combine the multiple classes and make a top speed of 115 to 125. Wherever everyone decides.
We could have at least nine current race boats racing this year at the worlds.
1. Team Taboo
2. Hard Rock
3. Rock Star
4. Cintron
5. Stampede
6. Fountain Worldwide
7. Sobe
8. Lucas Oil
9. Miccosukee Indian Gaming
10. Cleveland Construction
11. Lightning Jacks
12. Wicked
There are a bunch more cats and boats on the sideline that might be interested in racing with 7-10 boats again. I think only one of the boats hasn't raced this year. Just a thought. I just want to race as well Bill but racing a couple of boats and getting a flag and claiming titles isn't really fun for me and I know it isn't fun to watch either. I rather take a third in Key West with 18 Factory 2 teams like in 99 than take a checkered flag with 2 to 3 boats.

May even get me back to shooting these races....

If you guys do this and pull in enough boats to get your own start in KW it will be BOATRACING. How unusual and exciting would that be? Win-Win, you guys will have fair, challenging competition and the fans (for a change) will not need an interpreter to tell who is racing who. Would be one of if not the most exciting race there.

Steve,
We r looking forward to the class growing and getting stronger and stronger. We have a strong base with a solid core of teams that have run every race so far and working as a class trying to put on a good show. Hopefully Bill will be back soon he will be another great additon being he and Pete started the class. We are work with a few other teams to get them out racing. We r hopeing Global Warming will also be in kW. Rick T is working with a few teams that are looking at new boats to possible race the SVU, one is a team that Rick spoke to in Mich City and they seem very impressed with the race. Sometimes slow and sure is better, the important thing is to try to have team that will commit and be at the races. The way it looks now its anyones race any given day the boats r all very evenly matched, and that will make for exciting deck to deck racing and thats what the fans want and also makes for great TV.
Time will tell I know we are all working togther as a class and that is a great start, the rest is up to us.

Steve,
From my conversations with these guys it looks like it's NOT going to happen.
They don't want to run against the cats or opa guys.
They don't want to run against ilmors, 850's even with a break out speed that they can make.
They do have three boats and the other fountain with the stock 525's will be allowed.
They don't want to run against the lucas oil.
So they have one boat with 750's, 650's and 950's Frank.
So next race we will have 4 boats running together in 3 classes again.

Frank,
The class that you said Peter from Hardrock and Bill from team taboo designed is Super v limited to 509.
When I show up in Clearwater with engines like yours 509 with big blowers and race fuel close to 1000 hp I will be allowed to race with you right?
We have another set of motors almost ready but they are almost 200 more horsepower than our stock 850's with 525 exhaust on 93 octane.
Please let Billy and I know in writing so we can make the change and that the class will also have the same rules for the next complete season and nobody changes it before the worlds like last year.
I guess your right 4 boats are better that 11 in a class.
We can run the complete next season.

Brett I like your format to bad it is not going to fly, would have made for some good racing. Maybe too late for this year but how about 2010 & 2011 we would setup for that class

Bret,
That isnt my place to do, you can call Rich D if you r looking for something in writing. But u are correct if you are 509 CU or smaller you can run any blower motor you want. If you look at the rule book its pretty Blk and Wht. When we built our motors I spoke to Rich D if i had any questions, being he is going to be the one to allow the motor or not.

Bill,
I thought the 509 class started at last year worlds? That was why Lucas and Fountain worldwide and Rik's cig, cat killer ran other clasees. P1, sv unlimited etc.
I thought this format could be discussed before the worlds not to interfere with the current national champion race between the three.

With the short time frame between the Nationals and the Worlds I would not make any changes. If it started with the first race in April for 2010 then everbody would have time to test and be ready for the 2010 .
