Perhaps sbi should have their own guys inspecting props like they did in the past , I have a feeling if someone more qualified than throttle up checked the props there would not have been an issue. a throttle up propeller will never perform like a herring. PS where throttle up claimed the blades were a few thousands thin were so close to the center of the prop it could never make a difference in any water conditions.

got news for u there is no body any better at that than throttle up to do that mat and julie are the bestand honest . robbie

So your solution is to have someone from SBI that has never done props before, and doesnt have the equipment would be more Qualified then someone that designs and has been building propeller for 10 yrs lol. Thottle- Up has been inspecting prop for over 5 yrs. for SBI ,OSS, OPA, and has only failed 2 props. The equipment they use is state of the art so I dont see the issue... numbers dont lie, you dont have to be the head cashier at Wallmart. Why would anyone shot the messanger they didnt build the prop, all they did was measure it. Grant was right there and worked with Matt while he cked it so maybe you should call him. I dont think he is pointing fingers....

Also to anwser your question it was more then one blade, please guys get your facts straight. Has anyone bothered to call Richie D or do you just like your stories better.Or maybe call Hering and ask them what they built.

Give it a brake it is what it is , the prop didnt met the specs. that are in SBI rule book, one blade or 20 blade whats the differance.

Like i said before I'm sure it was an honest mistake, and I'm sure if JR has an issue with it he will talk to JC. That is what a true professional like JR would do.

You guys kill me.....

Its funny to read this stuff.....
There are guys that don't even know the story but are slamming tech and the Org....
There not even the racers of the team that was DQed, but they want to complain about the rules that us racers wanted put in and enforced...
JR and Grant are very professional and if had any problems would take them up with John and have talked to Richey..I'm glad Grant was there when they messured the props....

But some people have nothing better to do then put down Matt and Julie who have been doing this for a long time ....and most importantly...are very respected in the job they do and there products...

JR....congrats on the boat...and it looks like you'll be given Bob T and the rest of the SCL's a run this year...
