Super Vee Role Call for Cocoa Beach?
I've heard all sorts of rumors of who is going to be racing Super Vee/ V Lite this year! I am still working on my boat and probably will not be ready till Marathon, but I will probably visit at Cocoa.
Who is coming?
Earlier this year, Mark from Activator told me he is coming, rumor has it Absolutely Not is going to race again, I've heard Chris Flood will have 2 31' Bandits racing, Phantom Powerboats said they are going to be racing, R&S Racing is supposed to have his new boat ready, JD Byrider is rebuilding and hoping to race later in the year and then the few regulars!
Can anyone confirm any of the above or does anyone know of any other teams planning to race SBI starting at Cocoa?
It will be awesome if rumors come to fruition and we have 10-12 Super V's racing by Key West!

Pretty sure that Doc and Brian will make some showings in the SMB Outerlimits this year

What makes you think Doc is going to race? Haven't seen anything from him in over a year other than trying to sell the boat. Do you know something we don't?
Where is everyone else? I can't believe we have gotten so few responses from racers, is it "Top Secret" what everyone's plans are? Typhoon, what are you going to do?
How about Lily Sport Boats and Charlie McCarthy?
What do you say we all start making an effort to show up and make this class bigger than Super Cat! There are at least 20 Super Vee Boats across the country and we can't seem to get more than 4 to show up!

Does anyone else see a problem??? 25 single canopied boats on the list and only 3-5 on average per race site. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ALL SVL OWNERS AT A MEETING WITH SOME GIVE AND TAKE AND PUT THIS CLASS BACK TOGETHER!!!!! We have 10 weeks before the first race. That gives us 2 weeks to have a conference if you all are in favor. Any takers? Whats a easy airport for a one day talk?

Just think! If we could get all these Canopied SVL Boats and old canopied A-class boats to show up for the same race, how awesome would that be!
Also, I was racing A-class and F-1 back then but I don't recognize a few of those teams! Hope they are still around and start racing again!
Oh, bye the way, funny comment Typhoon! Ironic since your boat is Rick's old Stainless Marine A-class Boat.
