Default national points

It has allready been said but I think if a team chooses to run the national circuit then they should be rewarded with a national title , why not? the P-classes allow teams to try the national circuit and as has been pointed out it is a place to run boats that maybe don't fit todays current class rules . I used to run local races and apreciate being able to go nationally I feel we have come far why would you want to take us backward? I mean I know " pro" teams that only hit a few races a year or miss a few depending on your point of view but they make two so they can run in the worlds so I don't see the difference! As far as the " stepping up to a pro class " I've been told that before and it pisses me off the people that have said that to me and I mean no offense to the racers in those classes run in low classes that I would feel like I was going bacwards so I don't get the steping up thing , the funny thing is over the years I have gotten to be friends with several of the top teams in supercat etc. and they have never said anything like that but have been supportive and helpful to our program

After running P-5 in Daytona, I have alot of respect for all P-Class racers. I have ran F1 - F2 - SVL- P4- P3 and now P5 and I think throttling my 28 Joker in P5 was some of the best racing I've been involved in. You don't have to move up through the P-Classes , stay there and have fun! Run what ya brung and have a blast doing it - BH

Brian,
The P5 race in Daytona was one of the best! Less than 15 seconds separated all boats. It makes one wonder who would have won had there not been a red flag.
