Hey. I heard Michael Allweiss once stopped at a Traffic Light, in St. Pete, within 3 miles of the home a Guy,who knows a Guy,who subscribers to that exact same newspaper where the Article pointed out by Phantom 1 was written.

Accordingly, it must be Allweisses fault that this Article was written.

Use all the links the SMC so kindly provided us and voice your opnion. I just did, this is what I wrote
"Dear Sir

Please ignore the rantings of the SMC, as there science is flawed, they have no reasonable information to support there claims, and are totaly against any type of power boating activity under any conditions.
Its time to put a stop to this needless discrimination against powerboaters. We have rights too!

Thank you for your time and consideration"

It just blows me away that the CG would wait this long to either issue or deny a permit. I guess they are in the middle of this battle and will sway with the political veiws of the times.

If this does fall apart, you're all invited to Brick NJ for out race on Sunday the 27th.

Re: St Pete Race

I have to agree about the science being flawed. (Being a scientist myself) This manipulation of facts hurts everyone!!

It's not about the fish, it's about something extremely fishy.

That proof is on many desks, M.A. Natee's distribution list is quite comprehensive. If I would be in the camp of the Allweiss apologists , and if I hadn't received the memos, I would feel slighted .

I am all for protection of nature, as a matter of fact, I have worked most of my life for it. But if a man who has put high speed boat races into the same waters he now claims to protect has a sudden epiphany , if he says he sees things in a different shade of green than before, then this creates an explosive situtation.

And we could all end up as collateral damage.

This is not about a boat race in St. Petersburg in June. In his eyes maybe, not in theirs. There are pople out there who want to stop all boat racing, here and now forever. Next they want to stop all high speed craft. Next they want to stop all powered craft. And now they have a Crown Witness.

Think about it as you idle down the waterways.
