After a week of pure fun with the boat, I am pleased. Other than a broken gas gauge the boat is working well.
As for the numbers. After much prop testing I was able to pull 73 (GPS) out of her with two people in the boat.
I ordered a new prop today to get the RPM where it belongs. I'll let you know the results.

My boat runs 75mph spinning a stock 28p Bravo I.
502MPI spinning 4800rpm...
It sounds like those new 496s make a little more power than the old 454s and 502s.
