Steppbottom Bowlift
#33
I see the pad on the bottom which the Y2K does'nt have. Is stern lift why JC did'nt put it in the Y2K? It will make the stern ride higher in the water. Most pad bottom boats ride very high compared to a conventional V.
Also we need a video from the side of how she rides to see if it's a sensation of the driver or fact it's not riding light.

RAIN DELAY SB'ers. BASH will get out there shortly.
-Yes FX...going up is working...long talk with Joey E.C.M. on stepbottom traits. Boat not made to balance on the last few feet. Made to balance more on the center. Therefore you would think the motor needed to be deeper in order to set height with that point. However...its not working that way. going up 1 1/2" is getting me better results in conjunction with the larger diameter CHOPPER. Ran an easr 77.1 yesterday. Raised up again & waiting to give it another shot.

SUPERGARY...BASH FOUND YOU A NEW "SUPER G" AVATAR ! HOPE YOU LIKE!

Like others said about the tabs, I don't think they have any negative effect when full up. My tabs seem to be mounted closer to center than the rest of you guys.
I never thought I had a bow lift problem. With a 4 blade, my boat doesn't take any more than about neutral trim. Looking at a pic of me on plane, the bow seems high enough even at slow speeds.
