Re: The Superboat Story Begins
FX, Your so called old school layup is probably the way most boats are built today. Including Eliminator, Ultra ect... So Not really old school when most consider it current production standard.

Re: The Superboat Story Begins
Folks,
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and special thanks to Rick for sending the pics. My fiance' saw the pics and she said "That's it???. You're paying $$$$$ for that??. LOL!! I still haven't heard from JC on the deposit so the hull isn't mine.. yet.. But I'm hopeful. My plans are really quite simple. 496 HO, race mounts, tabs and steering upgrade. Everything else being stock. I'm going from an 89 23' Checkmate to an 06 Superboat so I need to do some cost control. I have a lot of discussions ahead with regards to wiring for sound and some other stuff I may want but I suspect I'll be pretty bare bones. I'm trying to keep things in perspective but seeing the hull does get me revved up a bit! |

Re: The Superboat Story Begins
Looks good. Has there been a Y2K with ITS yet? I would consider that as an option.

Re: The Superboat Story Begins

Re: The Superboat Story Begins
Thanks guys. It must be the angle the picture was taken at. It looks like brown core mat on my PC.
