LOL. it was hysterical! He had to stand to see over the fairing !!! LOL. Gary's seats are 2" lower the standard(JC height).

Ya know it was funny....Ya think JC would ask ya if ya wanted to drive....NO SUCH LUCK! THe boat rode beautyfully with a "nice angle of attack" if I do say so myself there Rick :D Sitting lower is in my mind much better. Though JC almost ran someone over cause he wasn't standing while he was driving :D LOL Not as fast as Suberbabi though :( We started with a Labbed 28 Bravo and was bouncing off rthe rev limiter76ish. I made a call to Tim (et5508) and he lent me a 5 blade 26p Merc prop...same issue 75 and at the limiter. and a labbed 29p bravo and ran 78, also pretty much at the limiter...(Thanks so much for the props Tim..very nice of you to offer them to me I may be interested in the 29 if you want to part with it)...JC feels the 30p bravo will be the ticket and is gonna order one up...
THe fisherman were not happy as we buzzed the pier looks like in post #6 the kid looks like he was trying to flash us, piss on us, or about to pull out a "piece" :eek:
I did have a throwable type coushion on JC's seat but he didn't take it too well HA!

SO far after only a few minor glitches I"M LOVING IT! I didnt get to bring her home yet, a couple odds and ends, and P&G Canvas didnt get all the canvas workdone tonight so I left her behind for a day. Its been a long day and I cant wait to get a chance to rip it up!!!

I got to see it at the shop on friday and looked great , love the black. You know some motor like to be loaded down and will run faster at less rpm with a more pitch. Its a trial and error. Have to run them the same day to tell. The superboat on the side looks awesome. I need to have one. Best of luck GARY.

I met up with Gary and crew at Claudio's Clam Bar last night.
He is suffering from a severe case of permagrin... :D
JC's crew Rick, John, and... did a beautiful job!
Gary has great taste; the boat is a classic!
She needs only a couple of flags for the bow in my opinion... :D

Hay guys!... Made it back from vacation but been busy at work catching up. Man Do I love this thing....I was all over Block Island on Sat, Montauk on thurs and all over the Hamptons all week long!!! Couldnt have asked for better weather! My wife loves it too! My 5yr old had a blast driving as well!. I dropped it back off @ Superboat for a few misc details this past Sunday and should be ready to go by Friday. The 30p should be in this week. I had a good time with Pat and his buddy Greg @ Claudios as well! :drink: A budy of mine also gave me a Hydromotive intimidator 4 blade to try....I did take a few shots Ill post ASAP...

Also ran with Pure Energy after he got his boat back on Friday...The paintjob looks ALOT better in person let me tell you. His new JC Performance engine sounded sweet too! Nice to meet you and sorry for not seeing you on Saturday @ Claudios as promised. My wife wanted to hit Block Island cause I wouldnt have enough time to pull it off on Sunday with having to pull the boat out and do the prerequisit detailing before heading home....

Hey Gary,
Looking at your numbers:
With the 4 blade props, the slip is rather high at 20%... :(
With the 5 blade prop, the number is much better at 14%... :cool:
I would be thinking 28p 5 blade.
Of course it is easy for me to say; it's your $$... :drink:

Gary, nice to meet you too. I was shocked to pull out of my inlet and see you right there!! Very classy look with the color you chose. We got a late start on Sat. but we did make it to Claudio's. The motor JC Performance built for me runs like a wild animal!!! Smooth from 550 rpm all the way to 5700. Throttle response is incredible. I had the boat out on Sunday by the Gut with 3-5 slop chop, and man this boat handles great!!! A lot of fun1 :drink:
