Great to hear from you George!
The run should be a great end to the season...

Hi Bob,
In my opinion, the more the merrier; however we need to remember that this is an event organized by a group that has mainly small outboard boats.
This is not a Poker Run in open waters were the Biggest Fastest boat shows his stuff.
Rich Owen,in his drivers meeting last year asked that the larger boats hang back to let the smaller boats run first.
The "BIG BOYS" will need to show respect for the little guys...
Also, everyone needs to check in with Rich Owen for his head count.
Bob, if you would please relay the info to your buddy at between the bridges.
Thank You,

Thank You,
How about the "little guys" stay out of the way of the "big guys"?

Hmmm, You may have a point, BUT...
Let's remember that this is a Scream and Fly event, not and OSO event...
We were invited last year to join their gathering, so let's not be bullies...
I for one, would like to be invited back again next year...

hey pat,i got your email, ive been out on sundays, havent been going too far due to gas prices,i'm usually tied up at haddam island with my friends. i still havent lowered my drive yet i'm just gonna wait till the boat is layed up for winter. i will relay your message to the BIG BOYS thru my friend, i also would like to be invited back i dont know if any of those guys will run to hartford, most of them have never been past the cup,if that, but who knows.i understand richs point,i wouldnt want to get swamped by a 42 ft cigarette if i were in a hydroseam about 6 inches from the water! i watched the poker run from soundview beach last weekend,it was soso, not that big of a turnout when i was there. not sure if i'm heading out this sunday, but if i do ,i'll watch for you,see ya,bob
