most of us are meeting 8:30-9:30 at the ramp...some on the early side to shoot out to the #8? bouy to meet up with our LI brothers..the rest, ready to run by 9:15ish, to meet the screamnfly guys around 10 at Haddam....

Let's hope the weather clears by Saturday... :( My plan is to launch in Chester at 8am, 5-6 miles north of Old Saybrook, then come south to the I-95 ramp. If PE is coming across I'll meet him at the mouth or bell #8, another 3-4 miles south... By the way, 304 stainless steel will rust in salt water. That is why most boat hardware is made of 316. Best thing I could suggest is to have a prop polished and then keep it waxed... |
