Im going to trailer from babylon to orient and shoot across the sound. This should cut down about 1.5 hrs of travel. Anyone interested ?

I will be leaving from Greenport, just before Orient. There is a good ramp and parking. I have plans on hooking up with a 29 Kryptonite in the Sound then heading to the river. Would like to get a convoy going across.

I will launch in Chester up river at 7:30-8am and head south. I can meet you guys at Bell 8 two miles out or at the mouth if I don't get down fast enough.
There is a crew of boats meeting at the I-95 launch 9am or so. The CT River Run Officially starts in Haddam at 10 but I would like to start at the mouth.

Plans have changed again. Going to trailer to the I95 ramp. Orient for me is no big time saver.

If it was July Orient Point would be a great call.
I believe Fullthrottle 525 will be trailering up from Milford too.

Where in CT is the river run, I wanted to mapquest it to see if I was up for it this weekend? Do you need mufflers in CT ? Also Z.Zuperboat I was real disapointed today when I came out and seen my new Ron Hill 5 blade Propeller rusting, and I mean alot of rust it looked SS when I got it but it must have been coated.

Ive seen stainless props rust before. the polished ones rust slower. I dont know if its the metal they use or something in the water around here ? All my merc props do the same thing.It cant be as bad as you say. the ct river run is on the 15th and I hope the noise police are home for the winter. Im leaving my muffs home. Im leaving sat. 530-6 am if you want to join the convoy. the river starts in old saybrook across from orient exit 67 on 95.
