I know someone who has one. Never seen it though.
Guy works at S&S propellers in Queens, NY.

Yes John used to make them but I beleive the topdeck mold got messed up and he never made another.

John has a brand new 34' center console outboard sitting in the factory !!!!!

Cougar 25 you were correct, Superboat did make a 24' center console, and yes the center console did get weathered :( Howerever like I said there is a new 34' CC at superboat call JC he will be only to happy to chat :rolleyes:

I stopped by the shop today and met Rick. He said they still have the mold for the 24 center and it may be able to clean it up. That 34 center console is huge. Way out of reach for what I would want. A 30 Center console would be the perfect boat. One with a single 496 would be ideal.

There was talk of a Y2K CC, but the way the sport decks are selling I'm not quite so sure when they will build one ( Y2K CC ).

I think JC should have Bob and I butter up the old 24'' cc deck mold. ;) it would be faster then making a new one.

In the event you did freshen the deck mold, may I suggest to elimnate the motor well? I picture a nice B-Bracket with a 250XS. I too, am interested.
Ready to get back into the outboard scene.

Interesting!!! I didnt know the 24 had a center console version. Id love to see a photo of one! Who can come up with one??? Great idea of ditching the motorwell in favor of a B-bracket!! :evilb:

There is a guy in The Anchorage, in Lindenhurst , with a 24.
It looks pretty new and it is a great boat.

if ya built a 24 CC in adition to the 21 CC and if they could be setup as open boats with a Tiller drive and a 200 i might be interested in makin a dealer out here in NW most of the big fishing boats here are 24' open aluminum shallow rough riding V's and a 24 would sell like hot cakes here i think..

You guys do remember the 24 and 30 are both narrow boats. When you go to the side they lean over pretty good. I think thats Y they never sold that many.

I would think the wider and shorter 21' Super would make for a better fishing boat.

ZZ , yes your 100% on the money, those hulls are made for running, not rolling in the swells, let alone 2 big guys go to one side of the boat. :eek:

I think the cuddy is a waste of space. I would like a boat to run right up on to the beach and walk up and drop the anchor right off the front. I would do very limited fishing if any. It is nice to have the room to walk around the boat.

Well, you have to look at things from from more then one perspective. I have Kate, and the 3 daughters. They need a potti. ;)

You can't fit the potti in the console? I know what you are saying though I have wife and 2 kids one girl one boy. We have always seemed to manage without a potti.

video is cheesy and done by a local fissin guide but gives ya the jist of how it werks..

the motor on the boat in the video is 225 optimax turnin a 23P revolution 4 on a 25' aluminum 10* Semi V hull hence my question about the 24 in an open configuraton.... the deep V would be a major Plus ove what is built locally in my area...

Just thinkin outloud mostly.....

This is funny. Kirt, this thread was 2 years old and you found it. I knew you loved these 24 CC's :) So do I.

I was bored yesterday and looking through every web site on my favorites and much to my suprise I run across this thread reborn. Funny thing is that I was over at Kismet the other night and was checking out a red and white 24 cc in the basin...with one of my friends and we were talking about what a great bay boat they make...And this one is very clean and extremely sharp looking boat....you will see me this week.:D

I stopped by the shop today because I had to see it with my own eyes....it is true the 24cc lives again...And now I have to see if my funds would allow me to get one...the problem is the day I commit to one is the day Rick pops a 30cc out on me.
I am going over numbers to see if this winter could get me into one. Just another thing on the wish list. PE 30cc is the way to go.I would look to build it with a 496.

If I go CC, I'm going all the way.......outboards!!!!!:eek:

Where's the pics of the newest 24 CC? I think a Millenium console would do the trick. Keep the CG low. Close up that transom while you're at it.
