Hi Guys, was thinking over the winter of putting new rub rail on my 24. so yesterday i was looking in from behind and in some places it's scewed and most scewed and bolted. also in some places the hull is glassed to the deck and other places not. i would like to go with an all white rub rail. my questions are, does it have to be aluminum or stainless? also how evil of a job is it? what material are the newer styles made of? and does anybody have a part number? i live in canada so i am kinda stuck ordering local, as not to get screwed over on shipping and brokerage houses. thanks Rick

Are you sure the bolts you are seeing are going through the rub rail? They might be underneath the rubrail bolting the deck to the hull.

What year is your 24? I have a plastic rubrail on mine.
