Ocean what sut up are you running. Istill dont know if mine is right just yet. So far 76.7 GPS @7200 trimmed up . didn't want to push it. 2001 2.5 280 24" chopper w/12" setback.

I got 12" of setback (which im taking off soon and mounting motor right on the transom when i build the bigger motor) 2.5 200 stock best of 71mph GPS with a 24 trophy 1" below the pad.
setup for next season:
300 right on the transom 15" mid, mercury racing 280s K-planes and a couple of other things as well. Hoping to run around 90+ mph and be setup for rough water / offshore racing

Ocean running 1 1/2" below the pad. I think I have to move the motor up at least one hole. only getting good water pres.(13+) when trimmed out. the tail was just for the pics, eventhough its up there to get the revs up. cant wait to see your ride after the mods!!!
