Just spoke to JC, with a little handy work on Ricks behalf, looks like we can transplant one of around 800 HP. in an existing Y2K hull !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmmmmmmm.

Thats where the zero effort tranny comes in. No crash boxes !!! Supposedly they work well with turbine applications.

This is a Sage #8 drive. It's an Arneson to the tenth power. It has a vertical lift of + - 4". It gose with this tranny. A zero effort tranny. With clutches for shifting.
I think Superboat might have a record holder here.

I guess, when money is no object, these things count.. Don't have to worry about drives blowing. They haven't had 1 drive or tranny failure. Hmmmmm....Mercury uses their trannys for their big blues.
