I was also considering one. I'm thinking the haylo type especially with the ITS the outdrive came in contact with the swim platform so I had to grind the tab on the the end of the top cap

Dave I was looking in the new Livorsi catolog # 14 your drive shower is in there @ $199, also a twin tube type called multiport shower. They claim to reduce temps as much as 60 degrees. Looks like a must for next year.

If the paint on the top of the drive shows any signs of fading or chalking, it is getting hot. Hot is obviously no good, and a drive shower will help in this case. I would say that it is good insurance for higher HP applications. It certainly won't hurt.

The obvious situations, chalky deposit on the top of drive,or a cloud of steam when you come off plane, but on my drive I'm always topping off the reservoir bottle, any one else with the same issue................Lightspeed how was keywest ???

Gary Key West Was Great Had A Ball . If You Are Topping Off All the Time Means You Got A Leak Some Place ?? Prop Shaft Input Or Leaking In The Boat?? Might Need A Bigger Bottle Trick Sells Them.
