Well forget the the Turbine idea.... brought it up at dinner and someone told my wife what that ment. Short version is she said, and I quote "Hell No are you going to drive anything that fast." So I guess i have to have less then 1400hp.... there are still a few options ;)

EFI forsure but Haven't nailed down what the motor is really going to be. Were trying to decide on the drive/tranny package first and kinda building the motor to suit. If I can find a drive that will handle a quadrotor then thats whats going in the boat!!!! My good friend is the owner of V-power motorsports... just finished helping set up there new shop last month so he owes me a favor or two.

Yeah I know but they are heavy and pricey.... were looking at the new IMCO drive and upgraded bravo XR types.... and merc is suppose to have something new at the Miami/Los Angeles boat shows in Feb.

There is also the Konrad 540. The last time I visited JC, he had been talking to Konrad about a Big Diesel application. |

The IMCO is rated up to 1000 hp, nice choice, however where we are the MERC. will always be the wise choice for service. Rob wait it out and see the new Merc mini 6. My 2 cents
