Since I've been slowly adding weight - stereo, interior, porta-potti, etc I felt the boat needed more bow lift, hence the 1" spacer installed a few months ago. Now I'm running her hard again to see speed at rpm to report to BBlades and fine tune a prop, as I do want a spare (the 26p Bravo 1). Did I mention I was one happy SB'er??? WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?
Thanks again Rick and JC!!!!!

A 30'+ boat that will run 72-74mph with a stock 425HP/496cube engine.
And get 3mpg cruising at what? 60+mph.
My 24' only goes 2-3mph faster with a 415HP/502 and burns more fuel for sure...
My guess is that the new 30' Y2K2 will go 2mph faster. So throw a set of those CMIs on a 496HO and she'll probably top out consistently over 75mph and maybe 78 on the perfect day.

Re: Hydromotive P5
I agree Pat, and I still get this big grin every outing. Sure I wish for more speed (who doesn't?), but ya know what, there's always someone faster and the reliability is cool. I still can't believe that for once, I made a great decision on my major purchase, and after a year haven't had any true regrets. Thanks again go out to one of my buddies who posts as Bglz42 for prodding me towards SB.
