Superbabi--- A Superboat is a consideration...in an already narrow field... and that model would, in fact, be a Y2K. The Y2K on paper and in pics looks to be superbly well built and the time spent (in pics) on finish work is impressive. And, there price point is unmatchable!! I guess the biggest question I have is why only the 5-year hull warranty.
Don't get me wrong, I know there are plenty of 15 and 20 year old Superboats around, and in the end hull warranty may be of little consideration.... but why not show the factory support.
I have experience being part of racing (or beating) a 24' Pantera past most other boats breaking point, and always felt more secure knowing the factory offered a "lifetime" hull warranty regardless of intended use (in this case, seemed to show me the factory's commitment to their product).
Please everyone, I am not promoting or bashing one or another boat company....it is just a question that is part of a decision-making process!?!

After speaking with everyone involved @ Superboat, I would be shocked if they didn't stand behind there hulls forever. If it was a defect I bet Rick would fix it or commit ritual suicide... the guy is too dedicated not to care.
