Could use either at this point, they are close in all aspects to each other from what I know.

Rob, talk with your motor builder, I know Merc. likes the CMI brand. Ron Potter likes the Stellings. I'm sure you will be looking sone where between 5-7k.

I know there ugly but for saltwater and power it seems the stainless marine gen 3 with the 4 1/2 or 5'' tails work just as good or better at 1/2 the price. I seen them from 3000.00 to high of 3600.00 with tails. and they last a very long time. I have seen my friends with e tops having troubles after 3 or 4 years and the 525 have had a lot of leaks it seems on here in oso land. art

Thumbs up

whats the speeds with 950 = 101, 103, MGD got 94 with 800hp, I am going to have to make my mind up this fall on which way to go for a hull. to put the 1050hp plus motor in and konrad ace. I wish I could do it now but the longer I take to decide the more money I will have and was hoping to just pay cash. I just know when I am done I want the fastest boat ever made for that model , trouble with SB there is a turbine boat getting dialed in this year so I am glad there is race gas and pulleys to turn the boost up and up for more power or bigger blower ha hah later art. ps good luck and can't wait to here your speed#
