He said it got a repaint about 2 years ago, it still had the superboat stipes on the side and motors and looked real good.
I knew it was an SB from 200 yards when it was on the ramp.
He said it runs 83 mph.
I saw him out on the run and he was flying flat and fast at 70-75 ish in 1' chop.

I was hanging with him pretty good (but he was walking on by) until I had a bit of an incident.

It was raining, I had my visor down, bad visability, bad light, couldn't really see the waves, I pulled around a 45' +/- big boat who was on a semi plane at about 60 mph and caught some SERIOUS air, landed good, went back up, landed bad, the boat kinda spun and I was knocked half out of the boat on the starboard side. My copilot flew across the cockpit and nearly pushed me the rest of the way out of the boat.
My right arm was in up to the elbow, I took some water in the face (helmet) but got back into the boat. We didn't come off plane, but I was literally seeing silver and yellow flashing stars for a good 10 minutes after that. I took it easy at about 50 mph, the rest of the way into the lunch stop.
I don't really remember all of what happened only snippets.
The first sip of my drink was quite salty. It was a double Crown, I felt better after that, a cigar and some good poker run titties in the bar.

you can kind of make out the deck in the pic of the front of my boat on the dock, back behind the yellow Pachanga.
and pics of the motors which I'm sure you saw.

oh yeah, were always cool.
I think I might need some better "Oh Sh-t" grab handles for the passenger though.

I put seatbelts in my 30 front seats. I did a similar thing when I had my Donzi Blackhawk racing someone. My wife was my passanger. Only she was hanging over the port side and I ended up in her seat sitting on her feet keeping her from falling out. I came down so hard I popped the main braker on my engine. Needless to say I was motha fu@ked by her real bad...She almost wouldnt go out with me in the boat after that. Needless to say I do drive much more mellow with her now. Sh!t with her on board, Bayliners kick my azz LOL
