Sounds about right to me also.. Anybody thinking of going by water . I was thinking of leaving from my Parents house in Shelter Island. I read that a destination point for the weekend events on Sunday is Claudio's. Who wants to leave from Greenport on Fri. afternoon run accross to Old Saybrook....

Im with FX10 bbq on beach,BYOB 
,but the ride across on fri to old saybrook ,could be intresting,the old saybrook in is a good place to go,i might be out cruisin that week!!! tripps

Sore Thumb is the perfect place, however, you need hot weather. You have to beach the boats, or anchor out, depending on the size of your boat, which means you have to get wet. July or August is the time.
