I saw that thread, but 12k for a blown small block with entry level parts doesn't sound like a smokin' deal... LOL

Still working on the exact engine specs but I'll keep you posted in the HB thread

Well I'm not quite sure what entry level parts would be? Not $25,000 race engine, but I would guess better than a stock 260HP/350.
Now 12K, plus another 3K for headers, plus maybe another 2K in accessories? 17K for a turnkey 550HP engine doesn't sound like a great deal, but not outrageous either.
We'll ask the engine gurus to give us some #s Saturday night.
