Well just got back from the boat show. Not much new to talk about. Two things that caught my ey was the new Lavey Craft 28 Convertable and this supercharged diesel in a Domn8ter deck boat.

Hey Rob, anything on the 600 sci upgrade ????

I picked the brain of the head guy at the booth for about 40 min saturday... He woudln't give me specifics but said there is a new drive (cone clutch no tranny's) that is being rolled out at Miami. From some of the guys over at one of the boat manufactors I found out the drive is going to be rated for 700-800 hp and should pair well with the 600sc which will get a tune up. They weren't sure exactly how big but guessed around 700. The reason they didn't know forsure was merc won't say whats happening to the 800 motor so it would make sense to bump it much more. Bottom line is all the new goodies are being rolled out at Miami. Bad news is the Merc rep said forget about getting anything new unless you are buying a brand new boat this year, he thinks all the new stock for 06' is already sold to manufactors?

On the bright side I need to make a trip out to NYC soon to go over the boat build, we'll have to get together again!!!
