I Was Going Thru An Old Powerboat Mag And Found The Drive Height Spec From My 30 Tempest That Worked Well For Me. With The Propshaft Trimmed Down Level With The Bottom. The Shaft Was 2 Inches Below The Bottom. Boat Has A 9 Inch Notch And Had A Neutral Imco 12" Box. Imco 2 Inch Shorty Drive. The Point Of The Nosecone Was 22" From The Back In The Notch And The Start Of The Prop Was 44" From The Back In The Notch. This Setup Went 85mph With 550-575hp. Spun A 26 Bravo With A 1.36 Gear At 5500 Rpm.

It Was An Old Issue With The Extinguisher In It. I Have All The Superboat Stuff Tucked Away All The Other Went In The Trash. I Had Two Guys Who Wanted All The Old Magz But No One Ever Came To Get Them. Every Issue From 1990 To 2004 When I Stopped Getting Powerboat. Now I Just Get Pokerun.
