I have a set of 1.8 ratio roller rockers to replace the stock 1.7 stamped steel rockers. This would give about 0.030" more lift from the vary mild mag cam shaft and reduce friction.

I believe that you can buy 1.8 rollers for the new 496 engines from Raylor.

I'm actually running with a Merc MPI system and Volvo Penta accessories. I'll be switching to the Volvo/AZ Speed MPI when I build my next engine or build up this one...

best i saw on my gps was 74.6.
last yr my speedo tube was not in place, so it didnt work.
But the new owner of my boat hooked back up and w/ 3 on board w/ 1/2 tank was seeing 78+. who knows.
