I would like to try a Maximus and see if I can increase cruise. With the 30, I was at 57 mph @ 3700 rpm. Hopefully top end will not suffer.

Gary, I'm getting 5 lbs of boost. I do not get into boost until about 4500 rpm.
I have a 30 p maximus if you want to try it .Stop by the shop. I have a set of 32's on the way. I dont want to sell it though.Greig

Pure, sounds like she's runnin great! You are near the same set-up as mine it sounds like now. I have a 30 Bravo1 labbed by BBlades on now and am not happy with it. I lost 5mph and 300rpm. over a stock 30. I'm going with Hydromotive 4x next.

I will start by saying there is going to be a lot of trial and error with the Y2K, since they is not a lot of "national" info about them.

I have spoken with Brett and yestarday with Matt @ Throttle up. I have been able to test a few props and with that info he was able to suggest I try a 1" spacer. My drive height is 1.5" higher than where JC puts it.

I also tried a labbed 30 and had poor results. Matt even said, before I told him I tried it, that a labbed prop may not perform well.

The "standard" labbed 4 blade props do not run well on boats that need bow lift. I believe a good bit of the cup gets removed.
My 24' slowed down when I had my 26p Bravo labbed. Then I sent it to Houston prop and they added cup to the leading edge and tip of the blade to get the bow lift back. Then it ran great.
This go around I sent my 28p B1 to BBlades and explained exactly what I wanted to Brett. I did not want a "full" lab job. I ask him to raise the rpm of my engine 100-200rpm and get my boat to run free with less trim.
The way my boat runs with the modified prop is awesome. Engine rpm is up and the boat will run high and free with vary little trim above neutral...
Brett at BBlades has a formula that will work for the 30' Supers as well...
