What kind of power would be hooked to the #6?
If the power is under 1000HP, I can's see a #6 being necessary.

Gary,
I believe the #6 has been bolted on the stern of smaller boats than a 30' Super. It's surely going to weigh less than a set of small blocks.
If there is a concern of the balance being thrown off, you could always rig the engine forward a bit and have a short drive shaft.
I would bet a 1075 and #6 would ROCK!!!

Im not a big fan of speedmaster style props. Not very effective to carry the nose. The drives can take the power but you need alot more power to compensate for the added weight , change in the center of gravity / transmision and drive load. Changing to the speedmaster to date has set me back in my estimate 5-10 mph. No more drive troubles.
