A 27' boat would be the perfect size for me to step up to next, but... :rolleyes:

If I was in the position to buy a new boat, there is really no better deal than the 30' Super... :D

With the weight of a 30 being nothing already, I can't see any advantage to a 3 foot shorter hull. You can't take much room out of the engine bay or the cockpit so I guess it would come off the nose? (shorten up the 30 mold?) If the trade off was gain 3-4mph in weight savings vs. smaller running surface then I think i would stick to the 30. Not to mention they would be close to the same price to start with.

The 30,s Are The Great Boats And The Rite Size For Anything. The Only Thing Thats Needs To Change Is The Buckets. Im Sure Faster Loves His Buckets.

At 7ft beam and low freeboard, the 30sb is not a big 30.
