Super Gene was there and is in 2 or 3 of ICBM's pics...
Hey Zup and Jcap, It's good to here you made it home in good time. My buddy Gregg in the 29' Fountain, had a great time running back south with you guys... With the cool temps and just him and 5 year old Charlie in the boat he hit an all time top speed of 75... :evilb: T-Mone, Condor24, and my self had a great run up to Hartford and back to Middletown together. Boy the gas was getting sucked down during that stretch; I don't think my engine run much below 4200rpm... :D We also had a some WOT stretches running down a few of the out-board guys... :evilb: Thank you Rich and crew for putting on a great time. Truly a great way to end the season! |

With me driving and Dad throttling, we hit 92.7 mph!!:D, the fastest we've seen in the boat. It really was a great way to end the boating season. |

Re: Conn. River run
S&F LINK to my vid. You guys can see that I dont just break balls over here.
http://forums.screamandfly.com/forum...d.php?t=118554 Putfile or Speedyshare are both up. My buddy didnt realize the hydraulic fitting on the steering ram would bottom out on the jackplate in TILT mode when we beached. The Long Island Convoy. Very cool. 12 or 13 trucks/boats/trailers. 3 hour drive up there. 5 minutes of cruising. 20 minutes no wake zones. 3 hour tow back. 3 hour ride home. That was my day. Everything was great up until then. Maybe next time. Hey "super gary". Who are you calling hairy azz my chubby little superfriend ???http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/421/bashzk7.gif |
Re: Conn. River run
had a great time at the run,it was nice meeting some of you superboaters and pantera guys. t-mone and pat, that was fun up to hartford,i barely made it back though,i was on fumes.! after watching your boats perform,i can definately see how the performance upgrades like hydraulic steering kick in at high speeds. my boat was getting too loose at the higher speeds for my liking. i think its time to upgrade the steering or buy a bigger boat ! :D
