I do not have an hour meter, but my guess would be somewhere between 60 and 70 hard hours.
My last hour of running the For Now in 2006 was today...
The 502 I rebuilt is still running great so we're going to try to run her "as is" for another year.

I only got 50 on the SB this year, but I split time between two boats.

i put 3.5 on it still for sale

25-30 hrs a year at this point I used to be good for 100

50-75 for me. Too much time on the beach lookin at the HOTTIES!

So G, are you leaving her as is for another year?

Pat, she has 200 plus TROUBLE FREE HOURS. I want to keep it that way, the motor will have a refresh along with the drive rebuild. All this adds up to some major $$$$, but well worth every dollar not to have any weekend down time next year. Not sure about a HP boost at this time, will see in a few weeks !!!!!

Chit, you still have 300hrs to go!!! Unless you run wide open non stop. My cruise rpm is 34-3600. Motors last forever.

My motor is two seasons old now, I think it has around 130 hours. I've slowed down the last couple years. I used to do 100 per year.

I'm not sure if it's necessary to do much more than rings and bearing on the bottom end of your engine.
On top, I would suggest having the heads bowl ported, if not fully ported, during the rebuild. A good porting job on those Eddelbrocks will gain you 30+HP.
Also, new lifters, valve springs, retainers, and locks...

As for the drive, didn't you already have that gone through under warranty?
Your $$ may be better spent on a low hour spare drive. especially if you plan to turn up the boost...
