If my wife and I would agree on what our "next" boat is going to be, I would sell mine. She wants a cruiser! :argue:
Anyway, mines 1998, 496HO with 120 hrs. K-Planes, FULL hydraulic steering, GPS speedo, alum. swim platform, etc. etc. I'm in MD., not too far from NY. |

Re: Anyone Selling A 24 I/o
I like my 30' Superboat, great ride little disapointed in the balance still leans but thats due to the narrow beam. I like my 24' also - my 24' rides better than my 30' with more people in it. ( Don't get me wrong both a great boats - but I wish the beam was a little wider it would make the 30' super-boat much more stable.

Mine Leans Only With A Cross Wind Otherwise Nice And Level. I Put 2 Sand Bags In The Engine Compartment And Moved Them Around For Balance. Then Moved My Batteries. For A Right Hand Drive I Had Both Batteries On The Starboard Side. Sat Alittle Uneven When Parked But Running That Was The Ticket. Now With A Left Hand Drive I Had To Split The Batteries One On Each Side. A Wider 30 Would Kill The Hole Boat. It Would Be A Wave Crusher Rather Than A Wave Cutter.

In calm conditions, my 24 Super runs nice and flat spinning a right hand prop if I'm by myself. The battery mounted on the starboard side along with weight of the dash/helm and my fat butt counteracts the roll caused by the torque of the engine and prop. When I have two people, I need to run with some port tab, even if I put the cooler under my seat... :drink: |
