Thanks for the extra pics Dave.

I talked with Chris (Gasstticks) last night and we're just trying to setup a time for a friend of mine to look at it up close. Hopefully within the next week or so I will know if I'll be taking a trip up north.

Hey,

I bought Daves boat and it is still running well! Living in SE PA and running on the northern part of the Chesapeake. I can try to answer any questions you may have.

Dave,

If I had to guess I probably put 30 - 40 hours on her over the summer. I gave the trailer a good going over once I got it up to PA, it needed some attention, replaced the springs, rewired it, installed four radial tires and moved the axles back on the frame whiched helped with a lot of the issues towing. I can easily tow from 65 to 80 with the extra tounge weight from moving the axles. Installed a new stereo with a sub and kept her clean. She is residing under a full cover now.

I guess you have had some issues with the Fountain that you bought.

no issue, just miss the fun of that boat. That boat handles very well and has incredible acceleration in the midrange.

Dave,

It is a fun boat and yes the mid range punch is incredible. I ran through some nice smooth rollers one day with four people in the boat, catching every other one. My good friend commented on how when the boat would come back down to catch the next wave, he was amazed how he could feel the boat accelerate and push him back in his seat. She is a lot of fun!

I have a few projects planned for this winter that I need to get going on but it has been so warm that it took a while to really want to winterize. I had it all done and then ended going out one more time over new years. Had to do it all over again.
