Whats Happening Gary,
The new hull was pulled out of the mold, and the deck is almost completely rigged. Hopefully we can get the deck on the hull today. Here are some of the pics. Enjoy. Rick |

Rick I have a question about gelcoating the engine comp, Y ? The gelcoats seem to stain and hard to keep clean. The discusion on other forums are to paint the compartment not gel. Yes-No and why ?
|
I have an opinion on gel. I did mine while the motor was out. but in the process of re-installing, aligning, dropping things, spilling fluids and standing, twisting, and turning scratches the gel and dirt mixed with fluids, stains and looks like crap. Don't know if 2 part paint is any better.

Have nyou tryed Mary Kate in the bilge. I''ve been using it for years and it cleans up a bilge really nice. Imron looks awesome when the engine compartment is prepped properly. With fairing and all the other work involved. It worth alot of money to have your engine compartment done properly with Imron. I charged $ 3,500.00 to do a 36 Cig a few yearts ago. And I was fully gutted.
