i just baught an older model 21 superboat hull to use with an outboard.... i want to get as much speed out of this boat as i can... what speeds would i be looking at with a Merc 300 outboard ?? what about the possiblity of twin outboards.... i know i guy that did it with twin 200 mercs... but im not sure how it ran... any input i can get will be great. btw, its not an original Superboat... its a "look-a-like"... here in venezuela. i dont really know how it worked out, but some how there is a very small company here in venezuela that has been making these boats for almost 20 years now out of a mold from the original 21 Superboat.

You would probably get more information on www.screamandfly.com all smaller boats with outboards. Good luck

I ran a 22 Velocity 20 years ago with twin 200. It set a Kilo at 79.945
Its not 90 but there have been a lot of improvements in props since then. I most say it was one of the funnest boats to run. It would fly straight and shame a lot of bigger boats. If you plan to run in big water with your superboat twins will make a good set up.

I hear Aldo wants $16K or $18K somewhere around there for this, the 30' next to it w/o motors is sold.
