The ball is in JCs court Gary, he may or may not respond to me. I think it would be a good marketing move to help me buy another Superboat whether it be new or used.
You know the power of the internet and how active I am on both OSO and Scream & Fly. I have help Superboat sell boats in the past.

hi pat..
what about an avanti? they build stuff for the military. the 27 would run nice with your motor, and give you a bit more length, and your swim platform would fit, too! btw, they have an unpowered boat in stock...in palmyra, nj.

I thought Avanti went OOB a few years back ?

I did speak to someone at Avanti last year and they were in the process of moving. I have not seen one in person to date.
I have also contacted your builder in NJ about a new 26/27.
There are lots of options out there so I'm trying not to be impulsive and do my home work...
At one point I thought I was going to take 2008 off from performance boating and just get something small to nock around the river. My wife asked if I'd be happy with that and the answer is becoming more clear to be no...

Our next boat will likely be 26 to 30ft...

Egg Harbor bought Avanti. They will be back, and better than ever.Pat, you have seen many pics of my Avanti.I would stay away from a used one unless you want to re-rig the boat.Old Avanti rigging sucks.egg Harbor will turn Avanti around though.
