The balsa is so rotted you can pull it out with your finger.Im going to replace it with marine plywood. Should be stronger.

Back In 1977-79 The Suffolk County Police Had One With Twin Merc 150 Xs .... They stil have it. Its one of three. They pulled me over (for no reggie sticker) with one during Safe Boating Week 2004 when I took possession of my freshly built 24SB. (It's now rigged with a reg. 200.) It also had a 250EFi but they didnt like the fuel efficiency after talking with the officers.
