Dude, don't know anything about Challenger's but that boat has nice lines! Love the period correct old school life line!

The transom balsa is so rotted you can pull it out with your finger.Im going to replace it with marine plywood. Should be stronger.

Ill be happy if its done by October.Id like to run it in the Lake George PR and then maybe try and make Jerry Fest...maybe.

Back In 1977-79 The Suffolk County Police Had One With Twin Merc 150 Xs ....

They stil have it. Its one of three. They pulled me over (for no reggie sticker) with one during Safe Boating Week 2004 when I took possession of my freshly built 24SB. (It's now rigged with a reg. 200.) It also had a 250EFi but they didnt like the fuel efficiency after talking with the officers.
I talked to George Linder he told me its hisory when he originally built them for twins for the dept. .
