Default The Challnger resto begins...

Did some work over the weekend.Got most of the boat stripped,gas tank ready to come out and 90? of the balsa out of the transom(that sucked).The last little bit of balsa is wet but not rotted, thats going to suck even more.Were going for a full plywood transom.Pics tonight.

If I had read this post 30min earlier you would have em.It got dark eariler than I expected.

As you can see, I still have a chit load of work to do.We actually had to cut the outside half of the transom off to get to the balsa. Last shot is of the Avanti all put away.

last.. The gas tank is unbolted but there is a lot of chit around it and in the way.The sob still has 1/2 a tank too.

Yeah that tank looks like a PITA. Transom looks like a good amount of work too...luckily you have all winter.

I like that there is snow on the ground up there. Anything measurable, or was it just a dusting?

What sled is next to the Avanti?
